www.phs.org/Medicaid 3 Food is Medicine Benefit during pregnancy Making healthy eating choices can be hard during pregnancy. Having a diabetes diagnosis while pregnant can make it even harder. Presbyterian Health Plan has partnered with New Mexico Health Care Authority to help make it easier. You can get nutritious, diabetic friendly meals during pregnancy and up to two months post-delivery. Turquoise Care members who also have a diabetes diagnosis (Type 1, Type 2, or gestational) during pregnancy qualify to receive up to two meals per day. You can choose from: Grocery boxes, stocked with produce, proteins, and other pantry items Prepared, ready-to-heat meals OR Meals or groceries are sent directly to your home weekly. If you cannot get deliveries at home, you can work with the program to set up an alternative location for your delivery.
